As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

The submission file is following the guidelines provided in the template .docx file

When possible, authors used a reference manager to generate their list of references.

The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
Contour journal accepts submissions on a continuous basis, as well as through occasional open calls.

Contour receives submissions exclusivelly electronically, via attachment, at the above email address.
Manuscripts for review should be no more than 5000 words, formatted using or refering to the <u><a href="http://kucjica.kucjica.org/contour-template.docx">template .docx file</a></u>. In this file, we prepared a set of paragraph styles that make formatting easier. References should follow the AMA - Vancouver citation style guidelines (references should be a numbered list, in-text citations should be refered to as [1], [2] or [3,4,5]). We strongly encourage authors to use a reference manager. In-text references to tables and figures should begin with "tabl 1.", "table 1", "fig. 1", "figure 1". Pictures should be included in the file, with a caption as a normal paragraph (without using caption option) and inserted after the caption. For final, copyedited submissions, we will ask authors to send us their images as a .zip archive in good resolution (minimum 1200pixels wide).
